Unveiled at June’s Goodwood Festival of Speed 2015, the Nissan Juke-R 2.0 is arguably the world’s most insane performance SUV. Now the Japanese automaker has announced that it will produce just 17 examples of the car.
Powering the Juke-R 2.0 is the same 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine as the GT-R Nismo. Consequently, it pumps out an equal 600 hp. Mated to this engine is an advanced all-wheel drive system and quick-shifting automatic transmission which can help accelerate the Juke-R 2.0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds flat.
Beyond the upgraded engine, the revised range-topping Nissan Juke also receives a selection of visual and aerodynamic modifications. The front bumper for example, has been overhauled with larger air intakes helping to increase air flow by over 100 per cent to the engine. The front bumper, as with the rear bumper, is made entirely out of carbon fibre.
New exhaust pipes are also featured as are more dramatically flared front and rear wheel arches. Elsewhere are the same wheels as the latest Nissan GT-R.
