Porsche has just unveiled its completed sculpture outside the company’s headquarters in Zuffenhausen, next to the marque’s museum.
The sculpture has been designed by British artist Gerry Judah, who regularly pens the similar-looking monuments at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Sitting atop the structure are three Porsche 911 generations; the 901, 930 and the facelifted 991 debuting later this month at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015.
Discussing the sculpture, chairman of the executive board of Porsche, Matthias Mueller said “The sculpture that we present today is more than a work of art. It is also a symbol for our company’s close ties with Stuttgart. In recent years, Porsche has invested around one billion Euros in facilities in the greater Stuttgart area.”
